Sometimes your wormery can get too wet – especially if it's been raining or you've added too much juicy waste. Don’t panic – here's how to fix it.
Drain Excess Liquid First
Use the tap to empty out any pooled liquid from the sump. Then turn your attention to the compost itself.
Dry It Out with Paper
Mix in shredded cardboard or plain paper (no glossy stuff). As you mix, fluff the contents to improve air circulation. This will help dry things out and restore balance.
Rainwater Tip: Leave the tap open with a container underneath if you think water might get in again. Prevention is better than cure!
