This feeder really does do what it says on the can!
Available in three sizes the Big Easy range of seed feeders are extra large diameter feeders that come apart very easily for cleaning purposes.

Lots of customers ask for larger feeder nowadays, it means less filling and more watching, so the big easy range is designed with this in mind, see the volumes below. Bigeasy have a special ventilation system to keep seeds dry and fresh for longer.

Everyone wants easy to clean feeders and this fits that bill too. Twist off metal perches, twist and lock top and a twist off base all add up to easy cleaning and harder access for Squirrels.

Bigeasy come with their own special tray (purchased separately), it fits on to the base easily and will help prevent the seeds spilling to the ground.

The large capacity ensures that birds have continuous access to food, which is vital for their survival, especially during harsh weather conditions. We love the ease of cleaning these and of course it reduces the risk of disease spread.

SMALL tube is 200mm long by 75mm diameter and holds 1 litre of seeds
MEDIUM tube is 300mm long by 75mm diameter and holds 1.6litres of seeds

1. Why should I put up a bird feeder? Bird feeders provide a supplemental food source for birds, especially during periods of scarcity like winter. They attract a variety of bird species, providing opportunities for observation and enjoyment.

2. What kind of bird feeder should I choose? There are various types of bird feeders, including tube feeders, platform feeders, suet feeders, and hopper feeders. Choose one based on the types of birds you want to attract and the environment where you'll place it.

3. How do I keep squirrels and other pests away from my feeder? To deter squirrels and other pests, consider using squirrel-proof feeders, baffles, or placing feeders on poles with baffles. Additionally, avoid placing feeders near overhanging branches or structures that squirrels could jump from.

4. How often should I clean my bird feeder? Regular cleaning is essential to prevent the spread of disease. Clean your feeder every 1-2 weeks with a solution of one part bleach to nine parts water, rinse thoroughly, and allow to dry completely before refilling.

5. Where should I place my bird feeder? Place your feeder in a quiet, sheltered area with good visibility for birdwatching. Ideally, position it near trees or shrubs where birds can perch and feel safe, but away from potential hiding spots for predators.

6. Will using a bird feeder attract unwanted wildlife? While bird feeders primarily attract birds, other wildlife like squirrels, raccoons, and rodents may also be drawn to the food. Proper placement and deterrents can help minimise unwanted visitors.

7. Can bird feeders harm birds? When maintained properly, bird feeders are generally safe for birds. However, they can sometimes contribute to the spread of diseases like salmonellosis, so regular cleaning and monitoring are essential.

8. How can I attract a specific bird species to my feeder? Research the specific dietary preferences and habitat requirements of the bird species you want to attract. Offer appropriate foods and create an environment that meets their needs, such as providing suitable perching areas or nesting sites.
