Coronavirus and Flower Delivery.

FLOWER SUPPLY
You may have seen that the Dutch flower auctions and indeed worldwide supply of flowers has been drastically affected over the past week by Coronavirus and the restrictions imposed. Please NOTE that nearly all our flowers are #grownnotflown and we are currently harvesting all our foliage requirements from our own cutting patch here on the farm so we currently have no flower supply issues. (We will probably limit bouquet supplies as at the moment most British Flowers have shorter stems and so if we need flowers from near Europe they will be for bouquets which have longer stems so we will limit these so that we focus on homegrown farm flowers as much as possible). IN SHORT – WE HAVE FLOWERS! Order here www.greatbritishflorist.co.uk

DELIVERY and CORONAVIRUS SAFETY
As you will probably be aware the Royal Mail and DPD have put in place strict procedures for their delivery drivers to ensure that everyone remains safe including those who are self-isolating. This means they will step back from your doors and they can sign for your flowers or parcels so that you don’t need to touch their PDA’s etc. They have excellent operating procedures for hand sanitation and so on. This means this Mothering Sunday we will rely on their professional services even for local deliveries to us. All deliveries will go out with DPD on a next day (we will have a Saturday collection) - and you can choose your delivery day – whether you want it on Friday Saturday or on Mothering Sunday itself so all good for Mums on Sunday… Please do note we are a farm not a factory so whilst we do have a good amount of flowers once they are all picked that’s it folks so please order now to ensure we can send xx

Many thanks for your support Our small business relies on it All the best and please look after yourselves.
