Give your garden birds the best all year round with our Wiggly Seasonal Birdfood Mix. Specially blended to suit the changing needs of wild birds, this mix evolves with the seasons – providing the right balance of seeds, grains and nutritious extras at just the right time of year.

From energy-rich ingredients in winter to help birds stay warm, to lighter, protein-packed mixes in spring and summer to support nesting and fledglings, our seasonal recipes ensure your feathered friends always have the fuel they need.

Freshly prepared in small batches and carefully tailored to the birds in British gardens, this ever-changing mix will keep your feeders busy and your birds thriving, season after season.

Feeding garden birds isn’t just for winter. In fact, supporting them through every season is one of the best ways to help your local wildlife thrive. With our Wiggly Seasonal Birdseed Mix — a premium British blend, you can provide the right nutrition at the right time, all year round.

🐦 Top Reasons to Feed Birds Year-Round

  • Spring: Breeding season is demanding — parents need energy, and chicks need protein-rich, soft foods.

  • Summer: Fledglings learn to use feeders and adults replace feathers during their moult.

  • Autumn: Natural food supplies like berries and insects decline, so birds start storing energy for winter.

  • Winter: Short days and freezing nights mean high-fat, calorie-rich foods are essential for survival.

With Wiggly Seasonal Birdseed Mix, you don’t have to switch between different products — our expert team adjusts the recipe each season, so your garden birds always get what they need.

Simple Tips for Feeding Birdseed

  • Use the right feeder: A sturdy seed feeder keeps food clean and accessible for small birds.

  • Keep it topped up: Birds rely on consistency, especially in winter. Once they find a good source, they’ll return daily.

  • Add variety: Alongside your seed mix, suet blocks and mealworms are excellent seasonal extras.

  • Fresh water matters: Birds need drinking and bathing water year-round — replace it often, especially in hot or freezing weather.

  • Clean feeders regularly: Prevent disease by scrubbing feeders with hot water every couple of weeks.

Birds You’ll Attract

With the right food, you’ll welcome a wide variety of British favourites:
Robins, blue tits, great tits, goldfinches, sparrows, blackbirds, wrens, thrushes, nuthatches, woodpeckers, starlings and many more.

By feeding consistently with Wiggly Seasonal Birdseed Mix, you’re not only helping your local birdlife — you’re also bringing the joy of nature closer to home.
