• Try dividing the seed into two passes: one in one direction, then another at 90° to get more even coverage.

• Lightly rake or brush the seed so it’s in contact with the soil (but don’t bury it deeply).

• For better results, you can roll or gently firm the soil afterward to press the seed lightly against the soil.
