Your standard Bokashi setup uses two bins:

• One filling

• One fermenting

That works well — but it can still create pressure.

Adding more buckets gives you flexibility.

👉 More time

👉 Less rush

👉 A system that fits your household

2 Buckets — The Starter System

Works well, but you may need to pause while one finishes fermenting

3 Buckets — The Sweet Spot ⭐

• One filling

• One fermenting

• One ready to empty

👉 No waiting, no stress — just flow

4+ Buckets — The Fully Flexible System

• Always one ready

• Extra fermentation time

• Ideal for larger households

👉 Total flexibility and zero pressure

1. Fill one bucket daily

2. When full → seal and rotate

3. Move to the next bucket

4. Let full buckets ferment for ~2 weeks

👉 The more buckets you have, the easier this becomes

• Filling time: 1–3 weeks

• Fermentation time: ~2 weeks

More buckets = more time for proper fermentation

👉 Better results, less hassle

What This Means in Real Life

• No backlog of food waste

• No rushing to empty bins

• No interruption to your routine

• A system that adapts to you

Who This Is Perfect For

• Busy households

• Families producing more food waste

• Keen gardeners and composters

• Anyone who wants Bokashi to feel effortless

Designed to Match

Matches your existing Organko bins perfectly — same size, same look, same system.

💥 Wiggly Tip

Most customers who stick with Bokashi long-term end up adding a third bucket — it’s the easiest upgrade you can make.

Start simple. Add buckets. Make it yours.

What our customers say

Brilliant live worms and great service! I ordered a batch of live composting worms for my new wormery, and they arrived in perfect condition — lively, healthy, and ready to get to work straight away. The packaging was eco-friendly, and the team even included a little guide on how to settle them in. My kitchen scraps are disappearing fast, and I’ve already started harvesting my first bit of worm compost. Couldn’t be happier!

Fantastic bokashi composting advice As a complete beginner to bokashi composting, I really appreciated how helpful the team were. They answered all my questions quickly and gave me simple, clear instructions to get started. The bokashi bran is top quality and smells fresh and pleasant. After just a few weeks, I’ve turned my kitchen waste into brilliant compost-ready material with no odour or mess. Highly recommended!

Top-notch British birdseed mix The British birdseed from Wigglys is superb. It attracts a lovely variety of garden birds — robins, finches, and even a pair of goldfinches have started visiting regularly. You can tell it’s a quality mix with no fillers or dust. Delivery was quick, and everything was packaged sustainably. It’s become my go-to source for bird feed!
