Covid-19: FAQ’s

Covid-19: FAQ’s

Hello

I hope you are keeping safe and well, and have been able to use this time to reflect on the positives and reach out to others – even remotely. I don't know about you but the days do seem to blur into one. I realise how hard it is for people who are dealing with this disease and those who are supporting them.

We are so pleased to have supported many Wildlife groups and Wildlife Rescue centres throughout the UK, many of which are really struggling because their volunteers have been unable to help and their fundraising has been put on hold - we raised over £10000! Find more details and the charities we helped here https://www.wigglywigglers.co.uk/pages/charitable-donations

We are so lucky to have space here on the farm and the ability to continue working here and from home, and we hope that some of the good that will come out of this disease will be a better environment for wildlife and for us in our gardens and beyond.

Thank you for your support – we so appreciate it.

Are you still delivering?

Yes we are sending out orders on a daily basis and are really pleased to see a renewed interest in composting and gardening for wildlife. We even brought back the Wiggly Podcast during LockDown to hopefully help you bring your Garden to Life and find out much more about farming and the countryside from a farming perspective.

How are you looking after your team?

We are using UK government guidelines to ensure our team is as safe as possible. We have home working in place for those who can and we are so pleased to be working on a farm so there is plenty of space. We have several different sheds so we have separated the team wherever practical - we have full protocols in place and everything set up for safe deliveries and collections. We have completed our risk assessments and increased our hygiene standards and cleaning schedules - and every team member has access to all the usual protection (gloves, masks, and hand sanitiser etc)

What about your guarantee policy?

As always, if you have a problem with a delivery just email us wiggly@wigglywigglers.co.uk with photos/details of what the problem is and we will be pleased to sort this out - as always

How can I get in touch?

Our phone lines are not open but you can email us – wiggly@wigglywigglers.co.uk and we will get back to you very quickly.

How are you making deliveries safe?

Our carriers DPD and APC are both operating a contact free delivery service – and as usual you can request special delivery instructions in the checkout.

How are you looking after your suppliers?

We have been pleased to maintain excellent relationships with our suppliers. We are taking responsibility for our commitments and will not be changing payment terms or asking our suppliers for discounts.

What support are you giving to those in need in this crisis?

We have been pleased to support groups and charities dealing with wildlife rescue over April and May. This has worked in two ways – we have offered you the option of donating a few £’s when you order and if your order value is over £30 we have donated £1 ourselves. This has resulted in 50 grants of £200 (so £10000). From June 1st we have expanded this to groups who are building or maintaining a wildlife garden that have been affected by Covid 19. We really appreciate your continued support of our farm in these challenging times.
