Wildlife Habitats

There's far more to garden wildlife than visiting birds and these special habitats should help make your garden wildlife friendly to a whole range of creatures, from insects to mammals.

As with birds, many insect species are also in decline, so why not help out by providing places for them to live? Our insect habitats can be broadly split into two categories. The first contains 'bug boxes', which generally have lots of nooks and crannies where solitary insects of all sorts can hide away.

Our mammal habitats include two bat boxes, two hedgehog boxes and a dormouse Nest. Remember that all of these creatures are voracious pest eaters so by encouraging them into your garden you'll be doing yourself a favour, too! If you are interested in attracting even more wildlife to your garden, try looking round the 'Books' section, where you'll find several titles that can tell you the best ways to make your land more wildlife friendly.

As always, if you need any more information just give us a call on 01981 500391 (UK only) and we'll do our best to help.
