Used for walking, rambling and for skiing, they have a wonderfully welcoming texture and are very warm and durable. Other uses include farming, fishing and polar exploration!

68 percent Mohair for warmth and comfort, blended with 32 percent nylon. Wash at 40 C, the instructions say do not Tumble Dry in bold text, but Heather has tried it, and they lived to tell the tale!

Available in three sizes with a choice of colours.

Goat Socks are made in the most part from mohair which is one of the most versatile textile fibres.

Many of its characteristics are similar to wool, but a key benefit is that it is finer and does not have the microscopic scales that make wool itchy, which is much better for those of us who are have sensitive skin. Mohair is warm in winter as it has excellent insulating properties, while remaining cool in summer due to its moisture wicking properties. It is durable, naturally elastic, flame resistant and crease resistant. a luxury fibre, like cashmere, angora and silk, the raw material is more expensive than most wool.

I was bought some long goat socks for Christmas Review by Claire Brown
I was bought some long goat socks for Christmas, they are great to wear inside wellies when gardening. In the past i've had to wear 2 pairs of socks to keep my toes from freezing in January, but with goat socks next to my skin, my feet were warm even in freezing weather while kneeling and weeding. I've bought a pair of short socks as well now as i've not got dainty calves, so found the long ones a bit tight
She says they are the warmest socks she has ever had. Review by Manxboi

Thank you for these wonderful goat socks. Review by Liz Atkinson
I love them and in this freezing weather I am living in them and my toes have never been warmer! As I trudge through the snow I bless the day I bought these really useful socks. Being quite short the long ones come up to my knees but never wriggle down into my wellies... I am telling everyone about these fantastic socks and ordering more for me!
