Wiggly Frequently Asked Questions

We're in Herefordshire and need a present/flowers today. Can we come and collect?

Indeed you can! Because our warehouse is not open to the public you will need to call and confirm between 10am and 5pm on 01981 500391. We’re based at Lower Blakemere Farm, Blakemere, Herefordshire, which is on the B4352. We’ll take the payment over the phone and put what you need aside for you to collect.

How do you do your bit for the environment?

Living and working on a farm, we like to reduce, reuse and recycle as much as possible. Our packaging is made from recycled materials, as far as possible, and we recycle or reuse all the packaging our deliveries arrive in. We compost our flower waste and we feed our birds. We also wear Goat Socks to keep our toes toasty!

Spending the day on a farm with flowers sounds perfect. Can we come and work with you?

Possibly. Email us with your details and we will let you know when we are looking for new team members. A love of dogs is handy, as is a tolerance of rain, wind, cold and mud (the last one is probably essential). If you are good at making a cuppa, all the better. We post posts (!) on our blog but please do email us at wiggly@wigglywigglers.co.uk

Will there be an Open Day This Year?

We don’t know as yet, but we are looking at the possibilities including some floristry workshops later in the year. If you have an interest please email us and let us know wiggly@wigglywigglers.co.uk

Why don’t you do Wormeries anymore?

It’s a long story, but due to a set of circumstances completely beyond our control we have decided to concentrate more on products we can grow and process on our farm, so that means more British birdseed, more British flowers and wildlife products, and fewer imported products. We will support your wormery and help you make your own worm composter but we will not be stocking the housings for the foreseeable future.

My son / daughter would be interested in a work experience placement with you. How do they apply?

We usually offer 2 work placements each year. If you would like to apply please email heather@wigglywigglers.co.uk with your full details.

Do you deliver overseas?

Some products are available – depending on the costs and also the time taken on delivery. So, for example, sending mealworms to Greece would be foolhardy due to transportation times, rules and regs and heat so we wouldn’t take that order. However, if we can send it – we will…. Goat socks are mailable all over the world!!!
