This week we get to meet the latest arrival to join team Wiggly, Rosie, the new florist. Rosie is the artistic younger sister of gardener Hannah, who works in the sales team, and has a wealth of knowledge about craft and design techniques. She studied at Hereford College of Arts for a Diploma in Art and Design and subsequently went on to gain a BA in Contemporary Applied Arts. Rosie says that the students were actively encouraged to explore a variety of techniques and materials which she really enjoyed. However, she also recalls slightly disturbing moments of having to sketch wrinkly old men in her life drawing classes! Rosie’s speciality is jewellery, in particular wooden and pewter pieces and her work is currently on display at Gallery 54. Rosie is a busy bee and likes to keep active. She is keen on surfing, currently attends a local pole dancing exercise class and wants to learn how to kite surf. No wonder she’s so slim! Rosie is very excited about her new role at Wiggly Wigglers and her enthusiasm is infectious. She is looking forward to creating some amazing seasonal bouquets and to introduce some new products where her creative flair can be put to good use.
