Unfortunately we are currently out of live mealworms and mini mealworms due to a national shortage. We are expecting this to last for at least another two weeks but as soon as they are in stock we will have them back online here, so keep checking back on the web for any updates. We do have stock of dried mealworms and live waxworms which your birds will both enjoy.

Rainy day projects for all the family

By Heather 11 years ago

With the prospect of yet another wet weekend (thanks to climate change) I thought you might some ideas for indoor projects instead of gardening tips!
The first is a great idea for recycling plastic bags into eco-friendly shopping bags and comes from Etsy Labs. Or how about a recycling craft idea for junk mail? I like these envelopes made from junk mail on This Recycled Life.

Keeping children occupied on a rainy day is a tricky one, but I have found some great craft ideas and play suggestions here from Jennifer Gove.

Popular children's recipes include cakes, especially cornflake cakes, so how about these from Lucy Chahil at Feed Me Allergy Free. There are also some gorgeous looking bakes on at The Nostalgia Fairy’s site if you want a little inspiration.
When I asked the boss (Heather Gorringe) what she would do with her son Monty on a wet day she said pluck a pheasant or play the piano…!!!
