Unfortunately we are currently out of live mealworms and mini mealworms due to a national shortage. We are expecting this to last for at least another two weeks but as soon as they are in stock we will have them back online here, so keep checking back on the web for any updates. We do have stock of dried mealworms and live waxworms which your birds will both enjoy.

Richard sits on the fence...

By Heather 9 years ago

Podcast 192

Richard returns with tales from his vegetable garden, nursing a wound that seems to amuse Heather. He brings with him Part Two of his piece on keeping Chickens (you'll find Part One in Episode 183). But, before that, there's a quick visit to meet Rosie, the fragrant Wiggly Florist, to see what's making the cut in this week's Wiggly Bouquets, plus another Monty Cast - this one clears up exactly what young Alfie says at the end of the 'Open Day 2008' video in the Wiggly Cinema.

Wiggly Podcast 171 is LONG!

By Heather 10 years ago

They are usually pretty cheery but here's the blurb for this week's show!
"It's the longest Wiggly Podcast so far and everyone is feeling gloomy. Richard and Farmer Phil re-convene to follow up their discussion of banned pesticides, but another row starts to brew, so Heather demands that it be faded out. There's plenty of feedback from Podchef, but he's not taking sides. The cow crisis is deeper and more complicated than thought, Richard's cockerel has been goosed to dead and his dog has gone deaf, Toast has a terrible itch, another prize cow has died and someone has forgotten to plant their garlic.
At least Monty has a cheerful Montycast."

5 stars - A Breath of Fresh Air by Belsfurry.Of all the podcasts I subscribe to yours is the one that I just can't wait to download each week. I Love it, though my husband (who has only listened to it once) thinks its a bit crazy. Its a great mixture of fun, information and practical tips brought to you by a great bunch of people who are passionate about the environment and the planet we live on. Keep up the good work Heather and the team - you are a breath of fresh air!
Thanks Belsfurry

The Mouse & Trowel Awards

By Heather 10 years ago

The Mouse & Trowel awards are the brainchild of blogger Colleen Vanderlinden, who can be found In the garden online, to recognise online gardening heroes. The awards, which are affectionately known as the Mousies, are given out in May after the close of voting and include awards for the best gardening blogs, websites and podcasts.

Last year Wiggly Wigglers was voted the best gardening podcast, which was a great honour, and this is what was said at the time,

"Funny and informative, the podcast gives down-to-earth information and promotes green living in a very positive way. The more people follow their example, the better the world will be."

This year we are thrilled to announce that we have, again, been nominated for the Best Gardening Podcast.

If you enjoy listening to the jolly banter, “slightly” insane conversations and countryside info from the Wiggly sofa please rush off right now to vote for the team by clicking here.

The Wiggly Wigglers podcast team is Heather Gorringe, Phil Gorringe (aka Farmer Phil) and Richard Fishbourne (aka Ricardo).
