Beautiful, flawed. Review by Adam

Beautiful design, but my item arrived with two small chips to the ceramic at the base of the ball. As this product is bought mostly for aesthetic appeal, even minor cosmetic defects are disappointing. I feel concerned that water will collect where it is chipped, and that the ceramic may be more porous where the surface glaze is missing, and that in time moisture may craze the surrounding glaze and lead to local discolouration. I still give it 4 stars for the quality design, though.
Fascinating to watch the birds' acrobatics Review by RichardC

This is a very aesthetic feeder which encourages fascinating acrobatics from the birds. It particularly appeals to great tits though they go through phases of preferring the seeds alongside. My location is not squirrel proof and I'm still working out how to deter their interest without putting off the birds. When they can get to it they have learned to give it a jog and if they are lucky the top and bottom part enough to reveal a gap full of peanuts. Would be safer if more snugly fitting, or protected by a screw design perhaps.
I love the design of this feeder Review by Judy Sharrock

I love the design of this feeder. It looks good is easy to use and deters squirrels!! The only down side seems to be that it took my birds a while to work it out and they only started using it after I hung a conventional peanut feeder nearby.
