Bringing a Garden to Life

The first ever Wiggly Book! Bringing a Garden to Life tells the story of how we renovated the tired old garden here at Blakemere, turning it into a fantastic haven for wildlife.
Written for us by Jenny Steel, one of our favourite authors, and lavishly illustrated with fantastic photographs. This is an utterly gorgeous but totally practical book, packed with information that will help you to bring your own garden to life.

This book makes for a great read and inspires the mind. I've transformed my garden since reading this book and have made very different choices because of the experiences of the farm! If you want a good read, with insights into the help and thoughts of those that transformed the farm and ideas on what you could do with your own small/medium/large plot of land then this book will definitely be on and off your book shelf regularly!

A great book on how Wiggly transformed their bare garden into a wildlife haven with different sections. Features on Barn Owls, Teasel, and other wonderful creatures and plants as well as testimonies of the helpers (Monty's is my personal favourite) make for a good read. With beautiful pictures, this book aims to inspire readers to pick up their spades and start gardening, rather than provide a detailed 'how-to', but I'll know what I'll show my gardner when we start planning the landscaping around my new house.
