Thank you to Heather for her review, I would just like to add that when I first put on a pair of goat socks (having never worn wool socks before) I too found them itchy, however within moments this feeling passed and now I would not be without them - comfy, cosy, toasty feet!

I was very generously given 3 pairs of these socks as a gift by someone who had mistaken my love for merino wool socks as a love for wool socks. Rather than upset them by returning them I decided to give them a go. They are incredibly warm, hard wearing and smell resistant. However, despite perseverence I do find them to be itchy to the extent that its always a relief to remove them. I'd suggest trying one pair first if you are not used to wool socks.

Socks wear well but are subject to some skrinkage. This makes them tight.

I was given a pair of these socks for Christmas in a Goat Themed Homemade Christmas Cracker and they have got to be the best socks I have ever tried. Every winter my feet freeze when up to my knees in snow feeding the goats but since putting these socks on my feet have been constantly warm. They are so comfortable and not to tight which means I wear them in my Wellingtons, around the house, in bed in fact everywhere. Absolutely Brilliant Socks.....definatley worth the money! I will have to buy myself a few pairs as like the other reviewer I don't want to wear any other socks whilst my goat socks are in the wash.

This is quite possibly the best Christmas present EVER! I have never had such warm feet. I suffer with chronic pain, and when I'm cold it makes it worse, but these socks have kept my feet so warm, the pain hasn't been as bad in my ankles. Can you make some for my knees please???? They may be a bit pricey, but they are really worth the investment. I haven't taken them off since Chrsitmas day, and they don't even smell! If possible I would give 10 stars out of 5! Thanks Wiggly Wigglers (and Mum!!!).

I was bought some long goat socks for Christmas, they are great to wear inside wellies when gardening. In the past i've had to wear 2 pairs of socks to keep my toes from freezing in January, but with goat socks next to my skin, my feet were warm even in freezing weather while kneeling and weeding. I've bought a pair of short socks as well now as i've not got dainty calves, so found the long ones a bit tight

I got given these (gift pack) for my birthday in August and have worn them over the autumn as the days get colder over a normal pair of socks. Very nice and soft. Plus we have just got back from a skiing holiday in Finland and can say that they work really well as a boot liner there too! Lovely colours and all in all a great birthday present!

Heather had raved about these socks on the podcast and as it happened my last pair of walking boot socks had developed a hole in one heel AND i had a£5 Wiggly voucher so i thought i'd give the socks a try. They are FAB! So comfy and warm - and nicely padded. kept me comfy when wearing them for 16 hours a day and working behind a bar on my feet for 6 hours a day at Glastonbury.
