Strulch is a special kind of mulch. Made from mineralised wheat straw, it has a neutral pH and is light and easy to handle. It is certified for use in organic growing systems as per the Soil Association guidance.
Strulch can be left on the ground for up to two years or it can be worked into the soil at the end of the season to improve soil structure and drainage. It's being used at the Eden project and the RHS gardens at Wisley.

Absolutely wonderful stuff - practically 100% weed suppression, plus it's light and easy to handle. My fruit bushes just love it.

We are very pleased with the results. The product is light and therefore the bags are light enough for me to carry without doing myself a mischief!

I've used this for the first time this year and been really impressed. Not only did it keep the weeds down but it has improved the soil, letting my garden bloom!

Fantastic stuff. I use it all around the garden but mainly on the vegetable plot, it kept my strawberries clean. I dig it in at the end of the season and mulch each time I replant. It has greatly improved the structure of my heavy clay soil.
