Richard is somewhere on the M25, so Rachel joins Heather on the Wiggly Sofa. Rachel answers a listener's question about breeding mealworms (and single-handedly solves the National Waterbutt Shortage, well almost). Heather becomes a Chelsea judge, well almost. There's plenty of news from Wiggly Wigglers and a sighting of DDT in Mexico. Then Richard fires up Skype to interview Dr David Ray from the University of Edinburgh about his work on climate change. Farmer Phil becomes a grumpy old man, but mellows somewhat when his single farm payment arrives, well almost. At least Monty is as cheerful as ever.

In a very sad turn of events both of Farmer Phil's second set of twin calves died recently, so Phil consults the vet.

The Clare Short interview from Podcast 23 makes the press, but what a difference the local and national newspapers make of the same story. Richard gets up early to record the song thrushes at dawn. Down on the farm, Phil's down on his luck as Lord Bach fails to live up to his promises (who would have guessed it?). Richard resorts to bad language brought on by Snakes Head Fritillary of all things. Then, finally, Phil gets to talk dirty as he explains the thinking behind 'mucking out'. Wiggly Podcast 0024Tarzan in the Pussy Willow Length: 34 mins 56 secs | First netcast on Mar 20 2006
Forget 'the Archers, but real', this week's podcast is more a case of 'Last of the Summer Wine, but real' as Anne's octagenarian father-in-law harvests willow for the Wiggly Bouquets. Phil's new bull is not to Heather's taste ...but he has his reasons.
Hypocrisy: the practise of claiming moral standards to which one's own behaviour does not conform. The M&S version is so easy to spot.
Heather receives plenty of feedback on the supermarket row, Monty returns with his weekly fact on worms, Alison is forced out into the snow to tell us about Ox-eye Daisies and Phil doesn't get to talk dirty, that's for next week!
