Here's how it works:

We grow as much of our own seed on the farm as we can, and then buy as much as we can practically source from other UK farmers.

Once they have been harvested, we dry the crops in our grain stores and then clean the different types of seed in our seed cleaning barn.

Then we make each birdseed mix recipe in our fabulous (and very old) Alvan Blanch Mixer.

Once mixed, it runs down the chute and onto the weigher and then we bag it and stitch the bags
